RUBYSPAM became an artist at a very young age. Two days after her mother repainted the walls in her bedroom she decided to use them as her personal canvas. After one hour of unsupervised artistic freedom, she created four walls of pure four year old abstract artwork that only a mother would want to kill her for.

Since this time of artistic discovery she is now a mixed media artist who works with oil and acrylic paint infused with wine, whiskey, coffee, balsamic vinegar and fruit and vegetable stains. She lives and works in the San Francisco Bay area and originally immigrated from Canada where she earned her BFA from the Ontario Collage of Art and Design in Toronto, Canada and her business certificate through St. Clair College. She has been reviewed by SF Weekly, ArtBusiness.com and the front page of The Food and Wine section in the San Francisco Chronicle.
She continues to exhibit her work at numerous group and solo shows throughout the US, Canada and the Bay Area. She has been named the Winner of The First Annual Competition from Gallery 28 in 2010 and a Winner in the 2011 National Juried Exhibition for New Century Artists Gallery In New York, NY.
When she is not playing with wine and whiskey, she is curating shows and organizing artists through her company Pink Art Productions, with her dog and personal sidekick Hailey.
